さて、そんなワケで6月26日発売の8月号は特別記念企画も盛り込んでお届けします。まず、本誌が創刊された昭和43年前後に登場した「昭和の名車」を独占試乗！ プリンス・スカイラインGT-B（S54B）、初代スカイラインGT-R（ハコスカ）、ダットサン・サニーGX-5、マツダ・コスモスポーツといった時代を飾った旧車たちが大集結。非常にレア＆程度極上の名車は40年経った今でもカッコいい！
ちなみに現代のGT-R「R35」と初代のハコスカGT -Rを並べて記念撮影したのですが、あまりのサイズの違いにちょっと驚き！ それもそのはず、全幅はなんと30cm近くも違うんですから！ S54Bにいたっては、今の軽自動車と同じくらいの全幅しかありません。とはいえ、サイズは小粒でも圧倒的な存在感があるというが昭和の名車たちの特徴といえるでしょう。
